2007 Pinot Noir The Reserve Willamette Valley  Limpid red. Bright strawberry, raspberry and Asian spices on the nose, with a seductive note of potpourri that gains strength with air. Sappy, spicy, attractively sweet red fruit flavors are energized by tangy blood orange and white pepper nuances, with a note of medicinal cherry adding grip. Plays deep cherry off tangy strawberry on the finish, which is precise, lively and very long. This will age on its energy and balance. 93

The Hers and His Reserves are once again equally rated with a pair of 91s. In 2006, they both received 92 points. After two years of this, we think we are getting the point - working individually is great, but maybe we should work together a bit more often.

2007 Pinot Noir Amalie's Cuvee Willamette Valley  Limpid red. Suave, complex scents of fresh red berries, potpourri, incense and licorice. Palate-staining strawberry and raspberry flavors are lifted by notes of orange peel and white pepper, with a deeper cherry pit quality emerging on the back. Suave and accessible right now, finishing with very good cut and length. 91

2007 Pinot Noir Estate Willamette Valley  Vivid red. Exotically spiced red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by notes of cola, sassafras, star anise and cinnamon. Juicy, impressively precise red fruit flavors are framed by silky tannins and lifted by a zesty suggestion of blood orange. Fine-grained and lithe, leaving sweet red fruit and candied floral notes behind. This sexy wine is drinking very well today but is balanced to reward another five years of aging 91

The Vintage Debut is garnering attention as a value priced Pinot Noir that delivers on the promise of the vintage - don't let the color fool you!  You can learn more about the 2007 vintage here with our 2007 Vintage Primer.

2007 Pinot Noir Vintage Debut Willamette Valley  Very light red. Spicy red fruit and herbs on the nose. Light-bodied, minerally raspberry and cherry flavors convey an ethereal quality and show a seamless texture. Graceful, precise and tangy on the finish, with the mineral and raspberry notes echoing. There's a weightless quality here that's intriguing. 90

The 2008 Pinot Meunier (Pinot Noir's oft forgotten sibling) is also in on the gig.

2008 Pinot Meunier Willamette Valley  Light, bright red. Delicate aromas of redcurrant and strawberry, with a suave floral quality in the background. Zesty red fruit flavors are complemented by notes of blood orange, white pepper and subtle herbs. Finishes brisk and refreshing, leaving tangy berry skin notes behind. I like this wine's light touch. 90
